Views 1042

Homily #141019b ( 25min) Play - Fr. Elias on how God is so omnipotent that he can work His will through the most unlikely people, including Cyrus the King of Persia, who was the pagan ruler over the Israelites and unexpectedly allowed them to go back to Jerusalem from which they were exiled. This also applied to Caesar in the day of Jesus and any ruler even today. Father ties this together to delineate how government and religion are separate but related and complimentary and how both should be respected. He gives a final exhortation regarding the spiritual practicality of sacramentals.
