    I have a slight correction to what Fr. Ignatius says: some copies of the Catechism with a green cover are also the 1st edition and contain these errors (I have one). My 2nd edition specifically says on the first page:

    CATECHISM of the CATHOLIC CHURCH
    SECOND EDITION
    revised in accordance with the official Latin text promulgated by Pope John Paul II?
