Homily #140609 ( 06min) Play Jesus gives us the beatitudes which we have before us as standards that we are to meet day to day throughout our lives. They are a great challenge for us to live out but they are also the measure by which we can test if we are truly living out our faith. The Beatitudes should characterize our lives. They are the marks of a true Christian.
