May 13 – Homily – Fr Matthias: Our Lady Is Waiting

Homily #140513n ( 07min) Play - On the 97th anniversary of the first apparition of Our Lady at Fatima, Father Matthias reminds us that, as Lucia asked "Will I go to Heaven," we too need to ask this question. If we love Mary, if we love God, we will want to die to be with them, but we must first walk the "narrow path" and, as Our Lord says, "the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force." He speaks of Christian penance, accepting the suffering God sends our way in reparation for our sins and those of others. Our Lady wants us to be with Her in Heaven, She is waiting for us, let us do violence to ourselves and not disappoint Her.
