Fr. Elias gives the third talk for our 2014 Family Retreat at the Mother of the Redeemer Retreat Center in Bloomington, IN. This series of talks is called "The Joy of the Gospel" based on Pope Francis' Apostolic Letter. Here he talks on the need to have Christian joy at mass, both the priests and the laity, and how we should prepare for Mass. This is necessary because we have so many distractions in our modern, electronic world that can very much steal all our attention. As we prepare for the homily better (again, both priests and laity) we will get more from them.
