Feb 10 – Homily – Fr Elias: Mary, Arc of the New Covenant

Homily #140210b ( 13min) Play - Fr. Elias on how King Solomon built the temple in Jerusalem but it did not have the Lord dwelling in it until the Arc of the Covenant was placed in the Holy of Holies in the heart of the temple. Father relates this to Our Lady since it through her that God came among us and was treated with great reverence as Mary is in the Church today, bringing us closer to God. He also relates this to St. Scholastica and the power of intercessory prayer of a holy person.
