Views 1256
Homily #131204 ( 00min) Play - Our Lord teaches and feeds the multitude. The Lord's compassion is so great and so moved by his love for us, that he heals many and feeds the multitude. Jesus loves also to be within our midst. We should express the same disposition toward him. We should visit him as often as we can at holy Mass and at the tabernacle. We should also invite him into our lives at home and in everything we do and everywhere we are.

“Each page of the Gospel is an example of the divine mercy.
The mercy of God is the essence of the whole history of salvation, the reason for all his saving acts. God is mercy.”
In Conversation with God, Vol. 1
I had the opportunity to give a Protestant friend a Miraculous Medal before Thanksgiving. He took it happily, kissed it, and placed it around his neck.
I saw him yesterday. We always seem to enjoy discussing religion; Jesus in particular. Somehow we came to the topic of Catholics being able to sit with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. I quoted a couple of bible passages. He asked me out of the blue if he could go to church with me and my family…if he could sit with Jesus at the local church that had perpetual adoration! He wasn’t sure he could, not being a Catholic. I told him that he was a chlid of God and that Jesus waits for us all to visit Him.
My friend is on fire! Conversion takes place when others see our joy and love for our faith! I don’t worry about what to say…the Holy Spirit always provides us with the proper words. 🙂
One day I may tell you how I gave a Miraculous Medal to a professed sorcerer!
Witnessing to our Holy Faith with joy and God’s grace. We are merely toold in His hands. 🙂
God bless us all.
