Homily #130928b ( 09min) Play - Fr. Elias on the how the readings today foreshadow the Church. Just as the the Isrealites will be safe if they stay close to the covenant and the ten commandments so too will we be if we stay close to the Church and its teachings. He also relates this to Our Lady of Sorrows to whom this Mass is being celebrated as a votive. Staying close to the Cross with Our Lady is the best way to stay close to the Church.
