Elias preaches on the Feast of the Dedication of the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi that was commissioned by the Pope  in recognition of the great devotion St. Francis had for the papacy and for rebuilding the Church that was in such need of repair. He points out that the Basilica is under the direct jurisdiction of the pope who is currently Francis, the first pope to be named after the saint of Assisi.
