I always thought the words, “The Son of Man has nowhere to rest His head”, was referring to Our Lord’s crucifixion. HIS sacrifice for the love of man was so extreme that even His sacred head wasn’t even allowed to rest against the Cross, because doing so woudl have pushed the crown of thorns further into His skull.
Amazing how many contemplations can come from one verse.
