Dio, per manifestare la grandezza dei suoi misteri, si rivolse a persone umili. I pastori erano disprezzati e poveri; non potevano pagare tutti i tassi al tempio; l’opera più grande della storia: L’incarnazione del Figlio di Dio, Cristo, il Salvatore.
Prima, il Signore promise salvezza attraverso la Donna e il Discendente di Davide. Questo annunzio suona anche per noi. Beati i poveri in Spirito, perché di loro è il Regno dei cieli. Vogliamo essere anche noi così: distaccati dalle cose di questo mondo come Gesù nella mangiatoia, ma specialmente distaccati dal peccato. Siamo cattivi quando pecchiamo contro la Volontà di Dio, così buono.
Come s. Francesco umile, con la vita conforma al Santo Vangelo, dobbiamo vivere la vita Cattolica, la vita di fede. Cresciamo in giustizia e santità nella vera Chiesa, sotto il mantello della Madonna, come suoi veri figli.
