    Father,
I enjoyed the live version of your talk. As always it is very inspoiring for the fathers and for the sons that “get it”, and the ones that don’t, God willing, thier father will make sure thier child is guided in the right direction until they “get it”.

That being said, I have a personal request. Perhaps one day in the near future can you blog about what the church teaches on suffering..ie Cathecism, writings of Saints, etc…and compare or outline for the fathers how excatly to suffer.

Recently I have had the opprotunity to give up a nasty habbitt, one which I will not be returning to due to the fact that the suffering from giving this up is very intense, and at the same time very fruitful spiritually. I can’t speak for many other fathers, only for myself in saying that we have to choose on how to suffer. All of it must be for the greater glory of God, not for ourselves, or what we deem to be God’s will for our families.

You know the eutopia(not sure of spelling) ideals. Seeing the world for what we think God wants it to be, doing our best to achieve that goal, and missing the suffering for the better cause because we feel what we are doing IS the better cause. Do you follow??

Anywho any help in blog format or perhaps on a mens group email or discussion group would be of GREAT assitance.

    Thanks
    God Bless
    Skeet
