Father explains that martyrdom is the ideal in that it is the ultimate sacrifice and so the ultimate love and sanctity. Yes, even if we aren’t called to a red martyrdom, we are nevertheless called to lay down our lives for Christ in a white martyrdom, through which we will be clothed with the linen of the freedom of God’s children.
