Thank you Father Bonaventure for that powerful homily. I think that we need to really be willing to be mocked, scorned, insulted, hated even by our closest relatives and friends and be willing to lose our jobs & our very lives to defend the truth otherwise we are truely worthless as followers of Jesus. But once we step forward and speak out against the mob of “modernists” that surround us, we are truely free. There is no easy path. The path is Calvary and it is totally at odds with the world. “Getting along” with the mob is Satan’s tactic to silence us. True Christians are not cowards, far from it.
