10min) Play – In today’s Gospel, the mother of St. James and St. John ambitiously sought for her sons the glory of sitting at Christ’s left and right in His Kingdom. However, Our Lord teaches that true glory consists in being like God in self-sacrificing Love and Humility. We need to imitate Him Who gave His very last drop of Blood for us, Who humbly hid himself as a child in Bethlehem, and hides himself in the Eucharist.
