“Always be strong in the faith and always be vigilant so that you will flee all the evil arts of the enemy. This is precisely the admonition that the prince of the Apostles, St. Peter, gives us: ‘Be sober and watch: because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, goeth about seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist ye strong in faith’; and for our greater encouragement he also adds: ‘knowing that the same affliction befalls your brethren who are in the world.’”
