April 25 – St. Pio Daily – Anger

By April 25, 2009St. Pio Daily

Ave Maria!April’s Theme: Vices

“Anger is a moral passion common even to the just man. In and of itself it is not a sin; but if one does not know how to manage it, it becomes sinful: as it would be to get angry with someone with whom we should not, or to get angry before we should, or about what we should not. This kind of anger the Apostle Paul tells us to get rid of. Speaking of this, even St. James wants that ‘And let every man be…slow to anger. For the anger of man worketh not the justice of God’”.
