Dec 2 – St. Pio Daily – Live Peacefully with Christ

By December 2, 2008St. Pio Daily

Ave Maria!December’s Theme: Humility

“Live entirely in Our Lord and be tranquil. When you happen to violate the laws of indifference where indifferent matters are concerned, due to a sudden impulse of self-love and our passions, as soon as you can, prostrate your heart before Jesus and humbly say to Him: ‘Lord, have mercy as I am weak.’ Then get up peacefully and calm yourself, and with holy indifference, carry on with your tasks.”

  • George Festa says:

Very timely and wise advice. As Thomas Merton said “In humility is the greatest freedom. As long as you have to defend the imaginary self
that you think is important, you lose your peace of heart.
As soon as you compare that shadow
with the shadows of other people, you lose all joy,
because you have begun to trade in unrealities
and there is no joy in things that do not exist”.
St. Pio, pray for us !
