Ave Maria!— October’s Theme: Prayer
“Not all of us are called by God to save souls and make His glory known through the noble apostolate of preaching; but you should also know that this is not the one and only means for achieving these two great ideals. The soul can promote God’s glory and work for the salvation of souls by living a truly Christian life, praying unceasingly to the Lord that ‘His kingdom come’, that ‘hallowed be’ His Most Holy Name, that He ‘lead us not into temptation’, and that He ‘deliver us from evil’.”
