Ave Maria!— March’s Theme: Suffering
“Our Order is called and is ‘the Order of Penance’, which does and preaches penance. And behold, we see that four years after the proclamation of the dogma of the Immaculate Conception, She Herself at Lourdes requests: ‘Penance, penance, penance!’. Behold who wants to proclaim penance to our corrupt world: the Immaculate. Let us permit, therefore, that She Herself in us and by means of our Order, may proclaim penance in order to renew souls.” (SK #486)
