Homily #260 (7min) Play St Berard and his companions were martyred in 1220 while preaching to the Muslims in Morocco. They were the first Martyrs of the Franciscan Order and prompted St Anthony to enter the Franciscans. Today Fr. Bonaventure Preaches on being Wise as Serpents and Innocent as Doves, protecting the head (preaching true doctrine) even if it means sacrificing the body (martyrdom)
