On Sunday, Sept 16, the Roving Reporter went to New Bedford where the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate and the local Portuguese community held their annual Our Lady of Good Voyage Procession. We processed through the city streets to the fishing docks where we had a moving ceremony of pageantry, music, and prayer for the safe return of fishermen and to commend to Our Lord and Lady those who died at sea.
