Ave Maria!

Introducing a new daily series of excerpts from the writings of St. Maximilian Kolbe translated from the Italian translation by Fr. Ignatius Mary Manfredonia.

“Dear brothers, know and take into account the fact that in the missions you will not only come across difficulties due to the surrounding environment, but God will permit, for His greater glory, that you experience discouragement, doubts, home sickness and other such things. However, don’t ever get discouraged, because we have a most loving Mother to whom we may always have recourse: during life, at the moment of death, and for all eternity.” (SK #744)
