Ave Maria!
This week the friars were invited to Immaculate Conception Parish in Westerly R.I., for their annual procession of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. About 500 people joined in on the march, one of the best attendances in the 79 year history of this great event.
Friar Roderic caught up with Ray Trebisacci for an interview and we are able to post the resulting video on the actual feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Come watch the great devotion of Rhode Island's Catholics.
Ave Maria!
Fr. Roderick:
Thank you for the wonderful job you do with Roving Reporter! Always informative, and very interesting. I love watching this little program more than all the others on this site. You manage to capture the spirit of the people whom the church is called to serve. I look forward to each and every new episode. God bless your work. Do you think you could do something with the Latin Mass and Moto Propio? AirMaria seemed to completely ignore such a wonderful recent happening in our church. Is there a reason why? Would love to see the Holy Father’s Moto Propio given an FFI perspective. God Bless
Thanks, R. Marie, for your kind post. We always need the encouragement. In regard to the Moto Propio we simply did not have the time to comment on it in a timely manner. We certainly consider it good news and would like to comment on it when the opportunity affords. Keep us in your prayers.
Fra Roderic Mary
Friar Roderic Mary:
I thought you were just great, and I pray that you keep up the good work of Our Lady, and that more people will learn of AIRMARIA.COM.
You let me know more about another community that seems to be comming together here in the latter times, and I hope and pray that you will be able to bring us more messages of faith through your reporting.
Good Luck, and God Bless You! Ave Maria!
Ave Maria!
Dear R. Marie,
We have a post on the Motu Proprio at “Exorcising the Spirits of Confusion: Summorum Pontificum and the End of Liturgical Freelancing” by Fr. Angelo FI. Good Reading!
