Homily #100829 ( 13min) Play – Will we follow Him? Fr. Angelo Geiger preaches on today’s Gospel where Our Lord admonishes us to live a sacrificial, spiritual life and not be worried about things of this world. For as the Gospel states, the Lilies of the field which work not nor spin not are clothed by God more gloriously than Solomon. He points out that to not follow this basic spiritual discipline is to live inconsistently when so many follow harder discipline in the secular corporate world.

Homily #091107 ( 35min) Play - Today we celebrate the First Saturday Devotion to Our Lady where we have many families over at the friary for classes, prayers, Mass and fellowship.
In today’s Gospel Our Lord tells us that we cannot serve both God and Mammon. Fr. Bonaventure explains that Mommon is a force that exerts undue influence on someone but remains hidden. Father then enumerates the many deceitful cultural influences on our children today whether hidden or not so hidden ways.

Homily #090906 ( 08min) Play – Today Fr. Ignatius preaches on the Gospel which tells us “You cannot serve God and mammon.” “Therefore be not solicitous for your life . . . nor for your body . . . For your father knoweth that you have need of all these things. Seek ye therefore first the Kingdom of God and His justice.” This is telling us to walk in the spirit instead of the flesh.
