Darlene Wagner and hostess Corinn Dahm discuss the news of Pro-life in Connecticut, the need for parental notification, and then discuss the status of chemical abortion due to RU486 and the morning-after pill, how it is growing and there are no hard numbers available to gauge how many abortions are occurring. The morning after pill in particular is becoming the contraceptive of choice and are using the pill too frequently for something that is basically a super-dose of birth control pill, which is already unhealthy. They discuss the need for educating young women on the effects of these drugs. He explains the reasons for deciding to adopt and then the process for actually doing it. He also explains how the adopted kids interact with their two older biological children and the rest of the family. He also works to help his adopted children to learn more about their respective native cultures. He highly recommends adoption and if someone is a parent they are already able to adopt. Mike Casey of RI National Organization for Marriage gives a rundown of the state of marriage in the US and particularly in the smallest state of the union, Rhode Island, and compares this to what happened in New York. He mentions how 31 times people voted directly on this issue across the nation and every time voted against same sex marriage, how it is being pushed on children at school which is taking the place of parents and even by the medical profession in doctor offices, how protocol was thrown out the window in the NY push for gay marriage, how there is an implied threat to sue if the bill does not get passed and so will win it through the courts, how gay pride day marches are pornographic and even if they were heterosexual should be banned, and how this all adds up to a long slow slide toward the demise of the building block of society, marriage and family.
