Ave Maria!

For the introduction to our Symposium “Mother of the Church” on Marian Coredemption at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, La Crosse, Wisconsin on August 21, 2010, Fr. Peter Fehlner, Mariologist and rector of the shrine, gives a formal introduction to the symposium. He explains the title of the symposium “Mother of the Church” and what it means to call Mary this, relating it to the 8th Chapter of Lumen Gentium of Vatican II and the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe and then gives a logical outline of the upcoming talks and how they relate to the prerogatives of Mary as Coredemptrix, Mediatrix and Advocate.

Drew Mariani of Relevant Radio was MC of the symposium.

    Ave Maria!

As always, Fr. Peter is at his best. Wonderful talk. Thank you for posting this online because I missed this talk due to the Feast of the Queenship of Mary.

Deo Gratias for all the work that the FFI’s are doing for Jesus and Our Lady.
