Fr. Bernard M. Salter gives the homily for a special "Rorate Mass" in honor of Our Lady on Saturday of the Third Week of Advent (Dec 20, 2025) exploring the ancient tradition of the Rorate Mass, using the symbolism of candlelight to illustrate how Christ’s light dispels the darkness of a world without God.
By reflecting on Our Lady’s "fiat," Father encourages us to imitate her complete availability to God so that our minds may be enlightened by His truth and our hearts by His supernatural love.
