Angelo makes the connection between the Annunciation where an angel appeared to Mary and the Apparition at Lourdes when Our Lady appears to St. Bernadette. Our Lady tells  Bernadette she is the Immaculate Conception which is just another way of saying what St Gabriel said to Mary, "Hail, Full of Grace"
