Echoing Abraham's willingness to sacrifice Isaac (foreshadowing God's Son for us) and Israel's bold advance against impossible odds, the homily urges unwavering obedience and trust in God's power. In a paralyzed, godless "culture of death," the Vigil instills repentance, hope, and moral conviction rooted in the Paschal mystery. Amid the Divine Mercy novena, it warns of wrath without mercy's embrace, calling for sacramental endurance to emerge victorious, building a culture of life through Christ's Church, sacraments, and Mary's intercession.
