Fr. Alan B. Maria Wharton gives the homily from Our Lady's Chapel, New Bedford, MA, for Saturday of the Twenty-seventh Week in Ordinary Time, explaining that Mary's greatest blessing comes not just from being the Mother of God, but primarily from perfectly hearing and observing His word.

Father connects an apocalyptic prophecy from the Book of Joel to the sins of modern society, particularly the judgment brought on by "the shedding of innocent blood," calling for national repentance and faithfulness through Mary's powerful intercession.
