Ave Maria Meditations

Let the mercies of the Lord give glory to Him. (Ps 106:21)

Jesus, during His mortal life practiced many virtues: but none is more conspicuous, none appeals more strongly to us, then His infinite mercy,  His tender forgiveness of all injuries. A vile sinner is brought before Him, her very mein proclaims her crime.

“Have none condemned thee? Neither shall I. Go, sin no more” (Jn 8:11).  Magdalene, the bye-Word of the city, Magdalene whose name was sin and shame, seeks His forgiveness and find His mercy.

+Servant of God, Fr. Willie Doyle

Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. (Lk 7:47)

Our Lady found this unworthy lukewarm person and obtained for her the grace to enter the Third Order of the Franciscans of the Immaculate. May this person spend all eternity in showing her gratitude.
