After the Solar Eclipse: Now What? – Mary Live with Dr. Mark Miravalle

 

Now that the solar eclipse has come and gone, what do we do? Were you expecting some form of chastisement on April 8 consistent with the biblical precedent of Nineveh? Join Dr. Mark Miravalle for what we can and should be doing in response to the great North American Eclipse of 2024.

He referenced Jonah 3:4 - Jonah began by going a day's journey into the city, proclaiming, "Forty days more and Nineveh shall be overthrown!" - as a parallel to our current need for spiritual awakening. This notion underscores a period of grace intended for repentance, rather than immediate divine retribution.

Further, he touched on the Vatican's release of the document "Dignitas Infinita" by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, approved by Pope Francis, emphasizing the Church's stance against abortion and the use of ambiguous language to describe it. He cited Isaiah 5:20 - Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil, who change darkness into light, and light into darkness - to criticize the moral ambiguity surrounding abortion today.

Additionally, Dr. Miravalle addressed issues related to surrogate motherhood and gender theory, asserting that these practices contravene natural law and the dignity of human beings as created by God. He stressed the importance of adhering to Church teachings to navigate these moral complexities, underlining the Church's role in guiding faithful responses to contemporary ethical dilemmas.
