The Mother of the Redeemer Retreat Center was packed to the gills with science and astronomy-loving Catholics, with the head of the Vatican Observatory, Br. Guy Consolmagno and other astronomers doing major research with the Keck Observatory and the James Web Space Telescope. The Grand Finale was, of course, the total eclipse on Monday, April 8th, with the retreat center being only a half mile from the maximum totality line.
