Overcome Fear thru Faith in Jesus – Jan 27 – Homily – Fr Isidore

 

Father Isidore M. Cipres gives the homily on Saturday of the Third Week in Ordinary Time (Jan 27, 2024 - Optional Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary), explaining how faith in Jesus overcomes every fear, by allowing us to recognize Christ's presence in us as we  face the storms of adversity. Consecration to Mary facilitates this recognition, strengthening our faith, and giving us courage. This faith, enhanced by the accompaniment and guidance of Our Blessed Mother, allows us to mature more fully, more rapidly, as Christians, and prepares us to meet the challenges of being true witnesses and evangelists, even in this time of hostility toward the Culture of Life.
