Epiphany! Salvation for the Gentile Children of the Promise – Jan 07 – Homily – Fr Joachim

Views 251

Fr Joachim gives the homily for the Solemnity of Epiphany, on Jan 07, 2024, underscoring the fact that this feast underscores how the Magi, of pagan or Gentile origin, symbolize the "children of the promise" given to Abraham, father in faith to all who will receive salvation. Jesus the Messiah was a Jew, was sent to the Jews, but extended salvation to all who believe in him and would be baptized. We who have received this gift have a responsibility, to share it with all those who have not yet received the promise.

Ave Maria!
