Fr Alan explains in the homily for January 6, 2024 (Optional Memorial of St. André Bessette) the unique and specific Faith that leads to eternal life . In the First Reading, the evangelist and apostle John says, "There are three that testify, the Spirit, the water, and the Blood"; the saving truth to which they testify is this: "God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son." This is the unique and specific faith that leads to eternal life in Heaven.
