Jesus Christ: Bridge Between Flesh-Time & Forever-Glory – Nov 25 – Homily – Fr Alan

 

Fr Alan reflects on Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Word of God, who became the bridge for us between temporal existence and eternal life, by taking our flesh in time, and bringing it with His divinity into forever and the glory of His Kingdom (Nov 25, 2023 - Saturday of the Thirty-third Week in Ordinary Time - votive Mass of Our Lady of Guadalupe).

Living as many do under the spell of "absolute materialism," propagated through media brainwashing and cultural indoctrination, it behooves us to focus on Christ the Mediator, who shatters all illusions of utopia on earth, through his death, resurrection, and ascension into Heaven. His Kingdom is "not of this world," and His Children will cross the bridge from temporal life to eternal, in faith and through His grace.
