This represents Jesus' act of freeing individuals from Satan's power. If this void isn't filled by God, Satan will return more powerful than before, showcasing the need for divine intervention.

This is applicable for societies too, as a society without God is vulnerable to evil. This is temporarily withheld by God's mercy. The Day of the Lord is mentioned, emphasizing judgment and justice. Repentance is the only way to escape this judgment. The message of Fatima, which we celebrate today, highlights the importance of penance. World War II happened due to mankind's sins. Wars are consequences of sins, pushing individuals to seek God. Though wars lead to self-sacrifice, they can also bring about dire results. However, God allows wars for a larger purpose. Our Lady of Fatima's apparitions were to end wars and promote peace. To maintain peace, we must seek the conversion of sinners. The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem calls for fasting and prayer, emphasizing the significance of the Rosary and Eucharistic adoration.
