St. Bonaventure: Illumined by Contemplating the Cross – Jul 15 – Homily – Fr Andre

On the Feast of St. Bonaventure, bishop and doctor of the Church, known also as "the second founder of the Franciscan order," Fr Andre points out features of his sanctity and wisdom: his humility, deep prayer life, great Marian devotion, and his fundamental focus on Christ crucified.

Father exhorts us to grow also in our contemplation and prayer, particularly by spending time with Our Lord in Eucharistic adoration, that we might be both illumined by the true source of all wisdom, and through Him, with Our Lady's help, become "the light of the world."
