Destiny of Unbaptized Infants – Dec 28 – Homily – Fr Matthias

 

Fr Matthias gives the homily at Bloomington, IN, on Dec 28, 2022, the feast of the Holy Innocents, and that the tragedy of this atrocity was mitigated by the fact they died as martyrs and so entered directly into a high place in heaven. Father then delves into the question of those babies that die without martyrdom or baptism and whether they are in God's presence and the beatific vision or in limbo and how this all relates to original sin, personal sins, abortion, the need to baptize babies as soon as possible and the importance of trust in God.
