Fr Ignatius gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Jun 08, 2022, on how Jesus has come not to abolish the law but to fulfill it. He does this in five ways:
First by observing the Law of Moses
Second, He fulfilled the prefigurements of Him in the Old Testament until he says from the Cross it is finished
Third, he fulfills and completes the moral laws, replacing temporal rewards and punishment with eternal ones, and adding the evangelical councils
Fourth and Fifth, Sacraments and Grace, He instituted the seven sacraments that confer grace on the soul to help us fulfill the moral law.
