The life of Bl. Leopold of Gaiche, Confessor, First Order (1732-1815) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Apr 2. Leopold was a zealous missionary preacher throughout Italy and was made provincial. Napoleon asked him to make a profession against his conscience and refused.

Reflection is on loyalty to the Church which Bl. Leopold was willing to give example at great cost
prayed much for the children of the Church to remain loyal, for Church unity
punishment of those who are disloyal to the Church, the example of Napolean
