The Life of St. Catherine of Genoa, Widow, Third Order (1447-1510) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Mar 23. Catherine wanted to enter a convent but was married at 16 to one who was not worthy of her. She turned to God and an intense spiritual life she converted her husband and worked to help the poor. She wrote a book on purgatory and received communion daily.

We are all called to holiness and thus need Eucharist often
