Jesus loved us to the end, to his own death and that is as serious as it gets, so we should do the same by increasing our love for  Him.

Origins of Lent

Baptism was called illumination and was administered to catechumens on Easter in the early Church. and Lent was the time of preparation

Lent is a great time to pray for the return of wayward Christians.

We know the reason for the creation

We know our own purpose

Time to grow closer to Christ in action,

Purification and enlightenment

Purification to set aside worldly, superfluous things and deepen our relationship with God.

Realize how God loves us.

Work to help others, putting ourselves at the service of others.

The greatest commandment, love your God with all your mind and strength and love our neighbor

Enter intentionally to enter the truth of what is important in life.
