The Life of Bl. Antonia of Florence, Widow, Second Order (1401-1472) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Feb 28. Bl. Antonia was made superior and started a new house in Aquila and then under the direction of St John Capistran started a new branch of Poor Clares. She suffered much from illnesses and grew in her prayer life and had many mystical experiences.

Reflection is on striving for perfection as Our heavenly Father wants us too
perfection built on the foundation of humility
Patience is the path to perfection
