The Life of Bl. Luke Belludi, Confessor, First Order (d. 1286) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Feb 17. Bl. Luke Belludi was a companion to St Francis on many missions and then helped St. Anthony at Padua, continuing on with his work after St. Anthony died. He endured much persecution from the new rulers of Padua. Many miracles were attributed to him before and after his death.

Reflection is on the effects of the true love of God, which is an active love, that is manifested by what we do.
This love comes from the heart
True love forgives many sins and unites us with God
