The Life of Bl. John of Triora, Martyr, First Order (1760-1816) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Feb 13. John was a missionary to China who was on fire for the love of Christ crucified and for souls, doing much prayer, penance, and miracles. He was apprehended imprisoned, tortured, tempted to apostatize, sentenced to death, but witnessed to the faith before his execution by Crucifixion.
