The Life of S. of God Brother Juniper, Confessor, First Order (d. 1258) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Jan 28. Juniper was and early follower of St. Francis and was very humble but simple who was adept at showing the simple wisdom of God and God rewarded him with ability to do much good for the faith and souls.
Reflection is on simplicity, which is not wishing to be considered any more than what we are in the eyes of God.
We must focus on the final judgment
Ignore the judgment of people, positive or negative. This will lead to peace in this life and happiness in eternity
