The Life of St. Charles of Sezze, Confessor, First Order (1613-1670) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Jan 18. Charles was born in Sezze, Italy and had a very pious youth, growing in the virtues. He entered the Franciscans becoming very zealous and was infused with profound wisdom without much study.
